2. Scope
This policy applies to all customers who authorize The Pink Coin to receive and deposit their federal or state tax refunds directly into a designated bank account.
3. Authorization
By signing the Direct Deposit Authorization Form, the Customer authorizes The Pink Coin to:
Receive the tax refund from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or state tax agency on the Customer’s behalf.
Deposit the refund into the Customer’s designated bank account after deducting any authorized service fees.
Communicate with the IRS or state tax agency regarding the status of the refund, if necessary.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must:
Provide accurate and complete banking information, including account and routing numbers.
Ensure the account provided is open, active, and capable of receiving electronic deposits.
Notify The Pink Coin immediately of any changes to banking details before the refund is processed.
Review and confirm all information on the tax return and direct deposit form prior to submission.
5. The Pink Coin Responsibilities
The Pink Coin will:
Process direct deposit requests in accordance with IRS and state agency guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all customer financial information.
Deposit funds promptly upon receipt of the refund, after deducting applicable fees as agreed in the service contract.
Provide a receipt or confirmation of deposit to the Customer once the transaction is completed.
6. Fees and Deductions
Any service fees, preparation fees, or other authorized charges will be deducted from the refund amount prior to deposit. The Customer will receive a detailed breakdown of all deductions.
7. Processing Time
The Pink Coin is not responsible for delays caused by the IRS, state agencies, or financial institutions. Refund processing times vary depending on the agency’s review and approval process.
8. Errors and Disputes
If an error occurs in the deposit process, The Pink Coin will work with the Customer and the financial institution to resolve the issue promptly. The Customer must report any discrepancies within five (5) business days of receiving the deposit confirmation.
9. Security and Confidentiality
All customer information is handled in compliance with federal privacy laws and The Pink Coin’s internal data protection policies. Banking and tax information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
10. Termination of Authorization
The Customer may revoke direct deposit authorization by providing written notice to The Pink Coin before the tax return is filed. Once the return is submitted, changes cannot be made to the deposit instructions.
11. Limitation of Liability
